What our customers are saying:
"FANTASTIC LURE"
"First time using caught two fish well chuffed, highly recommend!" - Carl Burke on Jul 24, 2020
Following the success of its predecessors, the smaller 16cm Headbanger Shad promises to be a HUGE success as it can be cast on any medium spinning set up and will have the same devastating action of the larger lures.
Combining the erratic and evasive Headbanger movement with the fish-like characteristics of the fixed exchangeable paddle tail, the Headbanger Shad is a predator teaser with an action that no other lure can offer.
It works really well with a simple straight retrieve, but excels when used with pauses and small twitches. To create the perfectly balanced suspending or sinking lure, try adding different weights of the super innovative Svartzonker "The Button" hard lure weighting system!
The lure has a wire-through-body construction and is equipped with rattle balls of different sizes for a fuller sound. The lure is lead-free and the weights inside are made of stainless steel. Trolls up to 2.2 knots / 2.5 mph / 4 km/h.
Easily change the tail with a Replacement Tail by turning it counterclockwise to release it from its corkscrew anchor. The lure has two smaller plugs that hold the tail in place and prevents it from twisting out of position when being used.

The floating version is the perfect choice if you want to go really shallow. It covers the 0-1.5 m (0-5 ft) range with ease, all depending on your retrieve.
The suspending version is a great allround choice and ideal for the fishing on 1.5-2.5 m (5-8.2 ft) depths. It hangs beautifully in the water during pauses. A hot tip is to pause the lure with a small twitch, which will make the lure turn 90 degrees to the side and face any following predator and no doubt produce a strike.
The sinking version is a good pick if you want to cover a little deeper water. It can be fished on 2-5 m (6.3-16 ft) depth depending on the distance between you and the lure.
