Frequently Asked Questions - Answered

Whilst we look into a better way to format our FAQ, here is a little bit of info for you guys that will hopefully help your browsing and shopping experience. 

So, what questions are you guys asking:

  • Shipping:

What Does Shipping Cost? UK Shipping starts from £2.99, international from £9.99 in Europe and £12.99 rest of the World. Shipping prices will vary depending on location and/or size of parcel. The easiest way to quickly find out how much shipping will cost to you is to add the desired products to your basket and go to checkout. Before you complete the transaction, you'll see the various shipping options with respective costs. All international shipping is a tracked service, for UK customers, this is an option we recommend, particularly during Covid disruptions.  

Do you ship abroad? Yes, we sell and ship worldwide. All international orders will be shipped under a tracked service to offer our customers security. Unlike Amazon, we do not have our own shipping service, so rely on 3rd parties to get your goods to you. You will receive a Tracking Number with your order confirmation. 

How long will it take to receive my order? 

We endeavour to get all "non courier"/smaller orders packed and sent on the same day if ordered before 3 30pm, as Royal Mail is collected at 4pm Mon-Fri. Couriers collect earlier than Royal Mail, so to give a better chance of larger items going same day, we recommend you purchase before 12pm. There is NO guarantee that your order will be dispatched same day, UNLESS you choose "Next Day Guaranteed", before the times indicated for various options available, which apply only to UK orders. Please note, "24hr service" does NOT mean you'll receive your order within 24hrs of ordering, this merely indicates the shipping service chosen. More detailed shipping info can be found on respective shipping company websites. 

Why is my tracking number not working? (UK Customers) With the traditional, 1st (£3.99) and 2nd class (£2.99) Royal Mail shipping, there is now a very handy service called Click & Drop that issues every parcel with a long number that looks like this: 320527589000347628817. This is NOT a step by step tracking number. This quite simply indicates that a parcel has been sent and will show once it is delivered. If you would like detailed tacking information, this will cost more, starting at  £3.99, 48hr and £4.99 24hr. We HIGHLY recommend this service, as they take priority with Royal Mail over non tracked services and will most likely arrive quicker. 

  • Shopping:

Is there stock of the product I want? With over 7000 individual SKU's, we have an advanced web based stock keeping system on that is largely automated, but does require human input. Occasionally, stock errors do occur, which is unavoidable, despite constant efforts to maintain accurate stock numbers. We are not able to physically check products every time we have a "stock status" request. We urge our visitors to the store to check the status on the website and purchase on this basis.  

Do you have a physical shop? Yes we do, we're located at the address in our contacts and below, above Mailboxes Etc. Currently, visits to the store are by appointment only purely as there is not always someone in the store. However, I will be available most weekdays between 9am - 5.30pm and occasionally on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm. We recommend you allow at least 30 mins before closing time to browse. Where can I park? There are multiple options. If you're just stopping in to collect, or for a 5 minute visit, there are loading bays directly opposite and up and down Chertsey Road, where we're located. There is Pay & Display at the bottom of the road, approx. 300 meters from the shop. There are 2 multi storey parking lots very nearby; Victoria Way, GU21 8EW and Peacocks Centre, GU21 6GH 

Do you sell maggots and other bait? No, what part of "Lure" & "Purely Predator" didn't you understand?   

Can I collect my order? Yes you can, please add a note to the order that you'd like to collect, with a day and time and we'll have your parcel ready for you downstairs upon arrival. P&P will be credited by way of store credit on your next order. Or give us a call and we can arrange this. 

I cannot find the product I want: There are multiple ways to search, such as By Brand, By Rig, Lures, rods etc in collections and more. However, if you cannot find the product anywhere else, we encourage you to use the Search bar and type the name of the product you are searching for. 

When will X product be back in stock: We can sometimes answer this, if we have an order en route or imminent. However, Post Brexit and during Covid, it has become harder to predict. We recommend our customers go to the product that is out of stock and request a Back In Stock notification. This is an amazing tool that will notify you as soon as it is in stock. It ALSO helps highlight to me what is out of stock and what you guys are looking for, encouraging me to prioritise products to get stock sooner, so carry on using it. 

  • Returns:
